My name is Tamara Hoffman. I have lived in Altoona, PA since I was 2 years old. I graduated from Altoona Area High School in 1993. I went on to receive my B.S. degree in Pre-Medicine from Penn State University and my D.O. degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA.

I have two wonderful daughters who keep me rather busy. Kaitlyn is 8 years old and going into third grade. Cassidy is 6 years old (almost 7) and going into second grade. They both attend Penn-Mont Montessori Academy. I also have a younger sister who is currently working towards a masters degree in Park and Wildlife Recreation. I am privileged to be engaged to Mr. Todd Koehler (said “Kay-ler”) from Windber, PA. Rounding out my family are my parents, Mr. Lynn and Dr. Salee Hoffman. Without them I would not have gotten even this far.

I like to read when I need a mental break. I also like to travel as much as possible. Most of my spare time is spent trying to catch up with my daughters and their busy schedules.

I am very excited to be back home in Altoona and to be continuing my medical education with Altoona Family Physicians.
