Scholarly Activity
Philosophy
Altoona Family Physicians encourages an atmosphere of inquiry. While
research is not required, we encourage an approach that looks beyond recommendations of
experts to understanding the evidence behind our decisions. We are also open to
adding to the medical and academic community by fostering new knowledge, synthesis of
previous research, innovation in methods and designing of systems to support good patient
care. We also provide leadership in local, state, and national organizations.
We will begin to share some of our innovations through this web site. Please call
if you have any questions about material found here. Most material is not
copyrighted and may be adapted for your use.
