Lisa S. Duvall, DO  

 Year 2000 Graduate

I am a native of Central Pennsylvania who grew up in the small town of Bedford, located approximately 1 hour from Altoona. I have enjoyed my experiences with Allegheny Family Physicians immensely and would not trade these last three years for anything!!

I have returned to my hometown upon completion of my residency. I joined an established practice, Pennwood Family Medicine, which is part of the UPMC consortium in Bedford PA. I joined three other physicians in addition to a PA and NP. I am both excited and terrified about starting in the "real world". I do feel, however, that my residency has done a great job preparing me for my future in medicine.

Undergraduate: Juniata College Huntingdon, PA

Medical School: Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine

Previous experience
I went directly from high school, to college, to medical school, and then to residency. I'm glad that I did it that way!!

Areas of interest
Women's healthcare including colposcopy, preventative care, pediatrics

Family
My husband, Rod, works with his father in the lumber/trucking business. He is a native of Crystal Spring, PA. We currently reside in Breezewood, PA where we are in the process of building a log cabin.
