Glen R. Patrizio, MD
AKA Dr. Harry Potter
As my Residency Training
draws to a close, I face my new life with mixed emotions.
I am glad to be done with this stage in my education and am excited to
begin my new life in the Pacific Northwest, but am sad to be leaving beautiful
rural Pennsylvania. In August I begin to work with the
Mid-Columbia Medical Center on the Columbia River, practicing community and
health prevention centered medicine in a small rural community.
The focus of the practice is keeping people healthy and making them feel
good. This philosophy extends
beyond the confines of the office into the community, where volunteering and
prevention are encouraged through time and resources from the practice. The philosophy includes the physicians, who
are encouraged to participate in the community and given the time to do so.
I hope to expand my horizons by becoming a gentleman farmer on the side. I will miss Altoona a great deal. I appreciate the education I received here a great deal.
Working with people as committed and diverse as Dr. R. S. Magee to the
Pediatric Healthcare Associates, have left a lasting impression on me.
I am also very grateful for the Secretarial, Administrative, and Nursing
staff in the AFP office. My office
practice will be molded by my AFP experience.
