Elissa J. Palmer, MD
Program Director

"My goal is to provide an excellent comprehensive education in Family Medicine in
an open, honest atmosphere that encourages professional growth and quality patient care."
“About what are you passionate? “ When I think about that
question, many things reverberate through my mind – my
family, medicine, life. What makes me passionate about
them is my desire to change the world to make it a better place – be it for my
daughter, a resident, a staff member, or the world. “Change the world ????”
you say ! Yes, pretty lofty ideals, I know. But we educate
residents who then, as our graduates, go out into our community, our state, our
country, and our world to practice the ‘art’ and science of family medicine,
changing ‘our’ world to make it a better place. Yes, a better place for all
of us.
