Dr. John-Mark Miller were on hand to receive the proclamation.

WHEREAS...    There are currently 39.3 million Americans who lack health insurance; and

WHEREAS..    There are millions of Americans with health insurance for whom cost is still a barrier to care; and

WHEREAS...    The Osteopathic medical professions of the United States has recognized that many barriers to access to affordable health and medical care exist; and

WHEREAS...    Altoona's practicing Osteopathic physicians are dedicated to improving the health of their community through education and awareness-based efforts, as well as by delivering quality health services; and

WHEREAS...    The citizens of Altoona recognize the need for Osteopathic physicians who are committed to bringing attention to the barriers to quality care that exist for so many Americans, regardless of age, income level or ethnicity.
