Treatment of warts with Candida antigen injection

This web site will give you information about a new method for treating warts.  It also gives details about the research behind the method that you can hand to your doctor.  In the section below, your doctor can learn to do the procedure and the evidence about whether it works.

"The first published study on the use of Candida antigen injection for the treatment of the common wart in the western literature."

This study was published in the Archives of Dermatology, October 1, 2000.  It is based on research done by Dr. Rebecca Phillips, Dr. Terry Ruhl, and Dr. Matthew Garber while associated with Midland Family Practice Residency and in cooperation with Dr. John Pfenninger of the National Procedures Institute, where the injections were done.  Final editing and submission for publication was done while Dr. Ruhl was associated with Altoona Family Physicians Residency.

A Vignette based on our research has been published in the Archives of Dermatology.  In order to adequately communicate the full story of the procedure, we have made available (with permission of the journal) the full paper detailing our findings.
