BiographyI grew up the second of six children to an officer in the US Army. Growing up I lived in Texas, Maryland, Alabama, Colorado, South Dakota, and Virginia. After spending two years in Venezuela as a missionary and graduating from BYU I married my high school girlfriend. I attended Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine from 97 to 01 and decided to pursue a residency in family medicine.I chose to come to Altoona for a number of reasons. It's in a beautiful area with plenty to offer for outdoor sports addicts, the residency has good faculty that teach during the day and play in the softball league with you at night, its close to several major cities and you get enough vacation to actually visit them regularly.
