Jessie Mosley, DO

Class of 2009

Hi, my name is Jessie Mosley. I am originally from New Jersey and moved to Bedford, Pennsylvania with my mother, sister and brother in 1994 as I started high school. I graduated from Chestnut Ridge Senior High School in 1998. From there my husband and I move to Huntingdon, PA so I could attend Juniata College. While at Juniata, I spent most of my time working with the Science in Motion program, which helps bring updated biology/chemistry material into the classrooms of the local school districts. I graduated in 2002 with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. Then we were off to the big city to start at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. After 3 years of living in the city, we were ready to come back home to country living. I graduated from P.C.O.M. with my D.O. degree in 2006.

I've know for some time that I wanted to attend the Altoona Family Physicians residency program. As a medical student, it was my favorite rotation. It is an incredibly strong family medicine program and it is close to home. More importantly, at least for me, it is extremely family-oriented.

When I am not working in the hospital, I love to ski, swim, veg out in front of the TV and spend time with my husband, Joe, and my dog, Harley.
